An environmental education project is being realised in the light of the increasing public awareness of questions of nature, biodiversity, climate change and energy: the Dohrmann Villa in the Wulsdorf district is being rebuilt and extended to serve as a place for environment – education – encounters. This will be an education, information and services centre for biodiversity, sustainable lifestyles and renewable energy.
Before this can happen, it will be necessary to renovate and redesign the interior of the building. The rest of the site will also need to be redeveloped to suit the planned use. ERDF funding is helping to realise this.
