The ZiB is run by the Arbeitsförderungs-Zentrum im Lande Bremen GmbH, the State of Bremen’s employment promotion centre, as a neighbourhood careers advisory service for women in Bremerhaven. Since it is an institution to promote women, its advice on careers orientation and further education and training, its advice on setting up in business, its advice for migrant women and its advice on the realisation of part-time training courses is aimed at women in all sorts of situations, both with and without a migratory background. The range of services comprises individual advice sessions, coaching, group advisory sessions and informative events. The general aim is to integrate women into the world of work by improving access to the labour market, to the vocational training market and to the capital market.
