On 7 May, Germany’s strong projects assisted by the EU presented themselves in Hanover at the nationwide opening event for “Europe in my region”. Projects from all around Germany which are being assisted by the EU made interesting, exciting and fast-paced pitches. The best contribution was selected by a high-level jury chaired by Bundesliga referee Bibiana Steinhaus and received the new “Pitch Your Project Award”. TV presenter Gabi Bauer moderated the event.

Fraunhofer MEVIS entered on behalf of Bremen. In an exciting pitch, Prof. Horst Hahn presented the planned new building for the institute.
