Überseestadt Marketing Association

Überseestadt

Überseestadt is increasingly developing services in the field of culture, leisure, entertainment and tourism. The Überseestadt Marketing Association was founded on 23 February. The association consists of the business people in Überseestadt, along with the BTZ (Bremen Central Tourism Office) and the WFB (Bremen Economic Development). The association aims to pool the existing strengths in order to promote the image and raise awareness of Überseestadt via joint activities, thereby attracting attention from beyond the region. The Bremen Central Tourism Office has been given the task of running the office which will implement the joint marketing, gain further members and organise events. The ERDF assistance provides start-up funding for the first five years; the association is to be self-supporting from 2015.
