Environment businesses initiative (iuu)


The environment businesses initiative (iuu) – infrastructure to support the environmental industry and to foster corporate ecological efficiency – is intended to put in place an overarching infrastructure for sustainable business activity in the State of Bremen. The merging and further development of the existing tried and trusted components partnership environment businesses (puu) (assisted under the 2000 – 2006 Objective 2 Programme) and Focus on corporate ecological efficiency advice (BÖE), and of the new priority of supporting the environmental industry, is intended to strengthen the regional structures of the environmental industry and of environmental research in terms of co-operation, networking, innovative capacities and market access.
