An integrated management plan for the Weser estuary, the Unterweser and the Lesum is to be drawn up in an intensive participatory process involving all major user groups. The plan is to form a basis for sustainable river area management and a balancing of the various interests.
The project aims to alleviate current conflicts between users and to generate a greater willingness to actively support the enhancement of the ecological situation.
