Setting up a marketing concept for Bremen-Hemelingen in 2013
Much has happened in Bremen’s Hemelingen district in recent years. Backed by the ERDF funding programme, a marketing campaign has been established, focusing on the development of the district and its five sub-districts. The retail sector in particular has benefited from this in recent years.
In order to foster this process and to improve the quality of life, a new concept is now to be developed in co-operation with the institutions and stakeholders in the district.
The aim is to expand the network of participants in order to work together to develop more issues and measures which will form the strategic basis for the future marketing activities. In a first step, the current situation in Hemelingen will be analysed with stakeholders from all five sub-districts. The findings of this image analysis will then be used to draw up specific recommendations for action.
The concept includes the following steps:
Analysis of the identity of the district of Hemelingen, including stakeholders from all five sub-districts
Evaluation of the findings of this identity analysis for the marketing of the district, with input from stakeholders from all five sub-districts
Derivation of recommendations for action for the marketing work, with input from stakeholders from all five sub-districts
Documentation of the process and production of a written concept for action
